About

zbryant is just a clever disguise worn by Zachary Bryant, a creative thinker and graphic artist from Charlottesville, Virginia.
He lives with his two ridiculous dogs, Oscar and Lola, on a farm 12 miles from the nearest traffic light. Not to worry, they’re under constant supervision by his delightful and super talented wife, Anna.
When he’s not drawing conclusions or enemy fire, Zack has been known to draw other things — like animals, patterns, and even the occasional monster. He’s an amateur professional, terrible fly-tier (and even worse tie-tier), aspiring raconteur, and a motorcycle gang of one. He also plays the saxophone and has a penchant for bebop and Blue Note.
In between all these exciting hobbies, Zack spends loads of time thinking about things like appropriate media, user experience, the future of print, and the evolution of publishing. He’s also quite fond of mark marking, mid-century modernism and all manner of custom lettering. Zack co-founded Auxiliary Design Co. and now serves as a strategist and producer at Journey Group, purveyors of fine stories and related goods.
This site is a melting pot of whatever catches his eye. A nice photo. A scrap of packaging. A drawing of a two-headed rhino. Maybe a new project or a crazy idea. Anyway thanks for stopping by. Zack would jump at the chance to have a chat. He reads a lot. Talks a lot. And drinks a lot. Of coffee. If you’d like to weigh in, he’d love to hear from you.
