Greetings. I’m Zack Bryant — publisher, illustrator and mark maker.
I live with my wonderful wife, pugnacious pups and delightful daughter in the cozy hamlet of Charlottesville, Virginia. I’m a founding member of Einbahn Studio and helped launch the award-winning Auxiliary Design Co. Additionally, I’m the proprietor of ZZZZOUND!: a small catalogue of inspiration. I proudly serve aboard the good ship Journey.
This website has existed in some form or fashion since 2002, when it launched as a portfolio for my graphic design projects. The current format represents an effort to capture some of the ingredients and outcomes of my work categorized as either Output or Input. That is to say, things I’ve created (Output) or a record of the inspiration that brought me to the point of creation (Input). A sort of digital hybrid: one part sketchbook, one part scrapbook. We are members of an emerging creative class defined by our reactions, remixes and recipes and this site strives to capture a few of those connections. The intention is to be both creator and curator.
